To run the programme, you need a computer (PIII 1200 / G4-1000MHz or better), a web browser (Firefox 1.5 / Microsoft IE 5.5 or a newer version) and the Adobe Flash Player 10 plug-in (or a more recent version), at least 800 MB RAM, a sound card and a monitor that can display resolutions 800*600 or better. To view the educational materials, you require a program capable of reading .pdf files (i.e. Adobe Reader). Loading panoramic pictures on a computer with the minimum configuration is slow, so we recommend using the latest hardware and software, so you will be able to enjoy all the advantages offered by the multimedia presentations.
Before viewing the page, make sure that your computer’s safety settings will allow the flash interface to load. In most cases, it will be sufficient to press OK in the safety window that pops-up when you load the interface for the first time.
When you insert the DVD into your computer, the interface will load automatically. If your autorun option is turned off or if you are using an operating system which is not supported, click on the file start.html to load it. You can navigate the interface with a mouse. When you click on a link it will open. You can navigate the panoramic pictures by left-clicking on the picture and dragging it into the desired direction. Panoramic pictures feature hotspots that are marked with the kingfisher sign. Clicking on a hotspot will display additional text and pictures.
